Blogger is the best platform for newbies to create their blog and
spread their words. Blogger also helps in generating through all sources
like adsense ads, affiliate ads etc. Blogger is owned by google
therefore google manages the best it can to promote your post.
Blogger provides default domain like yourname.blogspot.com but there is also an option to set up your custom domain to make your domain more SEO friendly. Because custom domains with name like yourname.com have more chances of getting preference in search engines than subdomain like yourname.blogspot.com

First create a blogger account by signing in with your google account on blogger.com. Thereafter click on New Blog button and create your new blog by entering your Blog's name and preferred blog address. Now click on setting after clicking on dropdown menu next to your blog's name.
Now go to Basic > Publishing > Blog address > Setup a 3rd party URL for your blog.
Enter the custom domain name you bought from bigrock in third party domain setting name (Custom Domain in the form of www.yourname.com). Thereafter click on save button.

In the manage orders panel there will be name of your custom domain. Click on the name of your custom domain a new window will open.
Now go to DNS management of your domain name and add A records in it as shown in the below image.
You will need to enter four DNS records by entering following Destination IPv4 Addresses-
216.239.32.21
216.239.34.21
216.239.36.21
216.239.38.21
Keep TTL value as 28800 and leave other fields blank.
After entering four A records, click on add CName Record. It needs to be done twice with different host name and value.
In the first CName Record add Host Name as www and value as ghs.google.com by selecting the column of Type in a fully qualified domain by keeping TTL as 28800 seconds. Now click on add record to add it to CName Records.
Again add another CName record by copying host field value from blogger the setting panel (which i have mentioned earlier) and paste it into host name field of Bigrock CName Record.
Once again go to above blogger settings page and copy the second destination name, now paste it into above Bigrock column of Type in a fully qualified domain by keeping TTL as 28800 seconds. Now click on add record, and finally leave this bigrock panel.
Now come to blogger and click on save button of above opened panel. Your custom domain is ready now with blogger. Now you can start posting with your custom domain.
(Note: Sometime the new domain name takes time to come in to effect after 5 minutes to 24 hours.)
